Description: Eighteenth Century Federal Style Home Built By Thomas Leiper For The Mill Forman. Also Known As The Forman House And Was Part Of The Historic Leiper Estate. Thomas Leiper Was A Revolutionary War Financier And Friend Of Thomas Jefferson. It Is Believed That Jefferson Drafted The Declaration Of Independence In The Valley Of Crum Creek. More Recent Known As Avondale Galleries. It Is A Two And A Half Story Home Located On the Banks of Crum Creek. The Home Has Been Complety Restored And A Lot Of The Original Woodwork, Hardware And Stone Is Still Present. The Forty By Twenty Workshop Is Great For Any Artist. The Front Porch Is Great To Sit And Watch Time Go By. In The Rear There Is A Very Private Area With A Small Stream And Bridge That Is A Perfect Place To Just Relax And Unwind.
